NATURE AND MANIPULATION #2
In the extent to wich, is nowadays nature created by people? Rather; manipulated? How much nature is added on earth? Asking myself these questions and with my background as illustrator and designer, I naturally came to my style of photography and image editing.
These images are digital edited. I always photograph trees, plants, flowers and water. That’s what I call my ‘source images’ from which new images can emerge.
Climate change is caused by humans. That’s the ultimate manipulation by nature. In my images, I want through (small) addition of change, also manipulate nature. I want to create a whole different narrative.

NATURE AND MANIPULATION #1
In the extent to wich, is nowadays nature created by people? Rather; manipulated? How much nature is added on earth? Asking myself these questions and with my background as illustrator and designer, I naturally came to my style of photography and image editing.
These images are made by using mixed techniques: for example; to put colored foil on a print and photograph it again. I add also materials and substances, such as water drops, soap bubbles or paint on a glass plate. So, manually edited.
Climate change is caused by humans. That’s the ultimate manipulation by nature. In my images, I want through (small) addition of change, also manipulate nature. I want to create a whole different narrative.
